Meet Our Staff 

Rev. Tim Marquez, Interim Pastor

We are blessed to have Pastor Tim as our Interim Pastor. He has a very loving and supportive family, all praise be to God!  He is married to Tricia and they are the proud parents of two sons.

Pastor Tim earned his Master’s from Union Theological Seminary. He has taken extensive continuing education and has decades of experience in ministry.

Nancy Southern,

Operations Manager

Nancy is a proud, native Texan. She enjoys being a part of the community of St. Martin’s. She has a work background in technology and is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. She loves to listen to stories!

Nancy has four children and is Mimi to three grandchildren.

Jenny Salyers,

Church Musician

At St. Martin's, Jenny plays organ and piano during worship. She also serves as accompanist for the Sanctuary Choir and directs the Children's Choir.

Music has been an important part of Jenny's life for many years. She began playing piano when she was four years old. Jenny graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Arkansas State University . She has been teaching piano privately for over 20 years and currently has a studio of 40 students.

Jenny has been married to her wonderful husband, Bruce for many years and they have two great girls, Sidney and Isabel.

Renee Boutelle,

Choir Director

Renee Boutelle has been the choir director at St. Martin’s since 2019, and has been a member of the congregation since birth.  She graduated from Texas Lutheran University, having graduated with a degree in vocal performance, and a minor in business administration. Her day job is working in commercial real estate management.

Renee is passionate about building up the kingdom of God, now! “On Earth as it is in Heaven” is something she strives for every day, while recognizing the day-to- day struggles we all face. Her favorite way to bring this about is by making music to bring glory to God, and helping others to do the same!

 

David Moore,

Handbell Choir Director

David grew up in Houston and started playing handbells from a young age in the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Handbell Choir. He continued to enjoy handbells in high school, playing for the Kempner High School Handbell Choir, and then into adulthood by participating in a few different choirs throughout the years. He has been a member of St. Martin’s for years now and currently directs the St. Martin’s Handbell Choir in his spare time. His day job is at Geospace Technologies as a Developmental Engineer. He lives in Sugar Land with his wife, Amber.
